Hello !

I am glad you are here. MAPS would love to help empower your family’s inner compass so you can enjoy a smooth sail.

I am a postdoctoral psychology fellow at Eastside Psychological Associates working towards obtaining my psychologist license under the supervision of Bethany Balkus, Psy.D., L.P.. I specialize in working with children, teens, and young adults, as well as their parents/caregivers, who are seeking support related to:

  • Autism, ADHD, and other forms of neurodiversity

  • Mealtime challenges/Avoidant restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID)

  • Behavior challenges

  • Anxiety and depression

  • Executive functioning challenges

  • Stress, traumatic experiences, and life transitions

  • Parent training & consultation

I use an integrative approach to therapy including cognitive-behavioral, family system, behavioral, interpersonal based theoretical orientations. My approach to assessments is strengths based and neurodiversity affirming. In addition, as a first-generation immigrant, I understand the struggles and resilience of being bilingual/bi-cultural (Mandarin-Chinese) adapting to a new culture. I embrace my multicultural background and naturally carry a kin sensitivity and awareness when working with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds.

My Offerings

    • Diagnostic evaluations

    • Individual therapy

    • Family therapy

    • Parent training

    • Social skills group for autistic children and teens (in planning)

    • Parent group for children with mealtime challenges (in planning)

  • I can offer video/phone sessions (using a HIPAA compliant telehealth service), so we can meet with each other at a more ideal time for you, no matter where in Washington you’re located.

I am currently accepting new clients.
